As Health of Vulnerable Populations Program Officer, Katie is responsible for managing the grant cycle process, as well as supporting the Foundation’s multi-year partnerships that address improving the health outcomes of vulnerable populations served by safety net organizations.

More about Katie:

Before joining the Foundation in 2008, Katie worked in direct service as part of organizations in California, Michigan, Wisconsin and North Carolina. For five years, she coordinated efforts for food pantries and shelters for Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Prior to that, she managed the volunteer program at the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina in Raleigh.

When not at her desk:

Katie volunteers with a local refugee resettlement program and enjoys exploring North Carolina.
