As Health of Vulnerable Populations Program Manager, Kellan is responsible for managing responsive grants, as well as supporting the Foundation’s multi-year partnerships that address improving the health outcomes of vulnerable populations served by safety net organizations. She also manages the Breast Health Project, a BCBSNC Signature Program that features the traveling Button Chair Exhibit.

More about Kellan:

Prior to joining the Foundation, Kellan worked as the contributions specialist for Progress Energy's foundation and corporate giving programs. Her 20 years of nonprofit, corporate and consulting experiences include: community relations director for Rex Healthcare, executive director for The Foundation of Hope for the Research and Treatment of Mental Illness, development director for the Methodist Home for Children, and her consulting firm, Moore Business, Inc.

When not at her desk:

Currently, Kellan serves as co-chair of the North Carolina Network of Grantmakers’ 2008 Annual Meeting and chair of the network’s newly formed, Corporate Networking Group.  She is also working towards a Masters of Health Administration through the UNC School of Public Health Executive Masters Program.
