With our first annual report, we set out to give a voice to those who have helped drive our mission of improving the health and well-being of North Carolinians. We enlisted the help of WUNC Public Radio, and the result is a collection of stories that capture a stronger, healthier North Carolina.
These are stories of our grantees and our partners, past and present - organizations, individuals and communities we have invested in through our grants and Signature Programs.
From a physician giving up private practice to care for the uninsured to a garden program benefiting seniors in Asheville, each is a story of change.
