What I love about my work:

I am a very detail-oriented person, yet I also like to think about the big picture and find creative solutions to persistent issues. I am our team proofreader, budget tracker, idea seller, and cheerleader. There is no greater privilege than working with a great team, doing great work, and making a real difference for people throughout North Carolina.

When not at my desk:

I try to get outside as much as possible – whether going for a walk or reading a book on my screened porch. I enjoy spending time with my husband, playing with our three dogs, and watching my youngest child on the soccer field.

Favorite thing about North Carolina:

Our state is a great mix of old and new. It is nice to have close proximity to modern conveniences while being able to enjoy small town charm. I like to shop local and am always up for a chai latte.
