BCBSNC Foundation returns to Charlotte to assist area nonprofits in their efforts to not just survive, but to thrive during this difficult economic time. Join nationally-noted nonprofit consultant Bill Bennington, founder of the Healthy Community Institute for Nonprofit Excellence, for this special training session developed specifically to assist nonprofit organizations in overcoming challenges resulting from the recent economic downturn.
The Managing Through Tough Economic Times training is designed to provide nonprofit leaders with guidance and ideas about how to fiscally strengthen their organizations by better managing expenses and leveraging revenue generation.
Attendees will receive hands-on training, along with access to nearly 200 tools and ideas for cost cutting and/or increasing revenue in a difficult fundraising environment.
Topics will include: organizational assessment, overcoming negativity, developing response strategies, communication, determining where and when to cut, where to look for savings, and contingency planning.
The training is provided at no cost to attendees. Attendance is limited and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees must register online by Friday, June 18, 2010.
