The Blue Cross NC Foundation is pleased to share the following grants were approved in the month of August.

  • 19-month investment of $50,000 to Asociación de Mexicanos en Carolina del Norte to meet the emergency needs of the Latino communities living in Beaufort, Duplin, Edgecombe, Greene, Lenoir, Nash, Pitt, Sampson, and Wilson counties by providing emergency assistance to families in need in response to COVID-19.
  • 10-month investment of $25,000 to Coalicion Latinoamericana to meet the emergency needs of the Latino communities living in Mecklenburg County by providing emergency assistance to families in need in response to COVID-19.
  • 12-month investment of $25,000 to Compañeros Inmigrantes de las Montañas en Acción to meet the emergency needs of the Latinx communities living in Buncombe County by providing community-based bilingual information, referral, and case management services to families in need in response to COVID-19.
  • Two-month investment of $15,000 to the Hispanic League to meet the emergency needs of the Hispanic/Latino communities living in Forsyth County by providing emergency assistance to families in need in response to COVID-19.
  • 18-month investment of $50,000 to Hispanic Liaison of Chatham County/El Vínculo to meet the emergency needs of the Hispanic communities living in Chatham and Lee counties by providing emergency assistance to families in need in response to COVID-19.
  • 12-month investment of $20,000 to NC Field to meet the emergency needs of the Latino communities living in Greene, Lenoir, and Wayne counties by providing emergency assistance to farmworkers and their families in response to COVID-19.
  • Four-month investment of $25,000 to Western North Carolina Workers Center to meet the emergency needs of the Latinx communities living in Buncombe, Burke, Henderson, and Macon counties by providing emergency assistance to immigrant workers in response to COVID-19.
