Kim Jeddy

Director, Operational Excellence

As Director, Operational Excellence, Kim works with leadership and across the organization to foster a culture of continuous improvement and deliver exceptional experience to our grantees, partners, and other stakeholders. Kim also works in conjunction with key stakeholders to increase efficiency and quality, as well as to ensure that grantmaking and other organizational processes and experience continue to improve to meet the needs of the Foundation and reflect our value for partnership and equity externally.

Kim joined the Blue Cross NC Foundation in June 2022. Prior to that, she worked in various leadership, consulting, and process improvement roles at Blue Cross NC for almost 15 years. Early on in her career, she worked as a chemical engineer for a large tech company and an electrical engineering startup company.

Kim received her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University. She is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt and holds an operational excellence certification from MIT.

What I love about my work:

What excites me most about the Operational Excellence Director position is that it is a combination of three things that I love: creating and designing ways to execute aspirational goals in an efficient and achievable manner, serving my community, and helping to fix systemic failures to improve opportunity for all.

When not at my desk:

I love spending time with my partner, Ben, and my pup, Ollie. I am always looking for an excuse to visit the beach or mountains. To relax, I like to read books or paint. I am also very active in my local community.

Favorite thing about North Carolina:

Growing up in a suburb of a large city, what I love most about North Carolina is the slower (more balanced) pace of life and the kind people. As a young adult, I visited the Triangle and fell in love with the area and the people. I moved to North Carolina almost 20 years ago and now consider it my home.
