When not at my desk:
I stay busy with family, friends, and a few hobbies. Whether walking with fellow GirlTrekkers, attending track meets, or traveling to science fairs and exhibits with my son, there’s always something fun and exciting around the corner. As a mother to a very talented high schooler, our family is passionate about building new ideas and learning about interesting topics and perspectives.
Favorite thing about North Carolina:
As a native of North Carolina, I am proud to live in a state full of so many incredible, talented people. Living in a state so diverse both in culture and geography, I am able to learn something new every single day. And, tying that into our work with the Foundation, I am able to experience firsthand the progression of our great state.
