What I love about my work:
Working in philanthropy and helping communities in need have always been my call. What a better way to do this than at the heart of the organization. In this role, I experience firsthand how we operate, I help the team innovate and gain efficiencies, and contribute every day to make an impact in the communities we serve.
When not at my desk:
There is so much to do! I enjoy spending time with my beautiful daughters, reading a nice book, volunteering for a great cause, traveling and learning about new places and cultures, exercising, meditating, performing with Takiri (my Latin American dance group), or simply enjoying a walk or a good conversation with a friend.
Favorite thing about North Carolina:
North Carolina has been my home since I moved to the United States. From the Smoky Mountains to the Outer Banks, the landscape of this state is absolutely beautiful. With so much diversity in natural resources, people, traditions and cultures, the Tar Heel State is the best place to be.
